Google Classroom

Google Classroom is our Learning Platform and is here for all!

We are using Google Classroom for so many purposes within school at the moment. It can be used to cover many aspects of the Computing curriculum, store our own work in a digital portfolio and also be the vehicle to set and collect in homework.

Furthermore, Google Classroom is also being utilised to continue learning in the exceptional circumstances that we live in currently. In the event of a school / bubble closure, the school is committed to providing continuity of education to its students and will do so through a process of remote (online) learning – we will do this through Google Classroom. Extensive remote learning would apply particularly in a situation in which the school is closed for an extended period of time, but a high proportion of students and teachers are healthy, and able to work as normal from home. Additional to any bubble closures, pupils are able to continue their learning (the same as in class) if they are off school awaiting any Covid 19 test. Work will be set by school staff matching that being taught that day in school.
