Admission Arrangements

Reception Intake September 2020

Welcome to Rudston Primary School. We are delighted that you have chosen our school for your child.

We are in unprecedented times and as yet we do not know when our school will re-open. However, we do not want this to prevent us getting you and your child ready to start with us.  Ordinarily, you would be required to bring your acceptance form and additional information to school in order to accept your place.  However, since school is closed, and to reduce risks associated with public contact, we would like you to do the following:

Please email [email protected] to accept your place. If possible please send electronic copies of the following documents:

  • Birth certificate
  • 2 proofs of residence, e.g.) recent utility bills (last 3 months); since council tax bills have recently been issued, this might be an appropriate one for you to use.. If possible email a PDF of these or a photograph with your name, the date and address clearly visible.
  • Any SEND needs we need to be aware of to help our Deputy Head Teacher for Inclusion to plan to meet your child’s needs.

Sight of original documents will still be requested in due course once school reopens.

If you are unable to copy any documents, please do not worry. Once we are back in school, we will contact you to bring them in to school at a later date.

As soon as the restrictions are lifted we will arrange a meeting for the parents and a session for your child to visit our Reception class. These dates will be shared on our school website and you will also receive a letter confirming the dates and times.
